The PwC Pennant Building Apparently Gains a New Tenant

According to sources within and outside the brokerage community (3 sources to be exact), the PwC Pennant Building has picked up Fox Sports Midwest as a tenant. They will occupy 15,000SF of the 120,000SF building. Fox Sports Midwest will join accounting firm PwC and Investment Banker firm ButcherJoseph as a tenant of the first Class A office building built in Downtown since 1989. The PwC Pennant Building is scheduled to start welcoming tenants in September.


Commerce Bank to Open in the Central West End

Commerce Bank has scheduled a grand opening for their new Commerce Bank Connect concept location for August 5th. The bank will have 24-hour ATM service as well as phone and video ATMs that will connect you to a representative if you need help. The 1500SF bank will occupy the first floor of Koman's "The Euclid" project. The Euclid has only one remaining ground floor retail space.


OPUS Starts Construction on Industrial Building

The OPUS Group has started construction on a 155,000 square foot industrial building near Soulard. The development will feature 32-foot clear height ceilings as well as 24 dedicated trailer parking stalls to suit a variety of industrial needs. The project will be completed in Q2 2020 and is being developed, designed and built by the OPUS Group.


Developer Eyes Start of Boulevard Phase 2

Condor Partners and Edwards Realty are eyeing a September start on the long awaited Boulevard Phase 2 project. The development will add 75 apartments, 175,000SF of office space, parking and retail. No tenants have been named for the office building, which consists of 4 designs. Two pad sites, flanking the North and South sides of the office building are being marketed towards tenants that would like a standalone building. The $100 Million development will be built by Brinkmann Construction and was designed by TR,i Architects.

Keat Properties Adds Another Building to Their Olivette Project

Gateway Plaza will now include two office buildings in addition to retail space, a hotel and parking. The development will be built to the immediate West of I-170 in Olivette. Keat Properties is partnering with Keeley on the project. No completion date has been named. The development is currently being marketed on different real estate websites.


Pearl Companies' WildHorse Project to Start Construction

Chesterfield's growth is to continue to as Indianapolis based Pearl Companies breaks ground on an $80 Million project on Wild Horse Creek Road. The development will bring 128 hotel rooms, 25,000SF of retail space, an upscale restaurant and 188 1 and 2 bedroom apartment units. Apartment parking will be located in an underground parking garage. St. Louis based TR,i is the architect on the project and Brinkmann is the contractor. Construction is scheduled to start later this month with the first apartment units available for occupancy in early 2021.
