Ever since I was 7, I have had a love for Architecture. It was something about seeing the Arch, whenever I came home from traveling, that stuck out to me. While, at the time, I couldn't tell what it was, I now know that it is the simplicity that makes the Arch unique. I really started getting interested in development news after the Great Recession in 2008. It was here and then that I realized proposals like the Bottle District, Ballpark Village, Sky House and the McGowan Walsh Tower never came to fruition. It was ultimately Ballpark Village that made me most interested in development news and the complexity behind it.

In November 2011, I was given the opportunity to tour the Roberts Tower in Downtown while it was still under construction. My notice to detail didn’t go unnoticed by my father or Roberts Jr. Since the Roberts Tower was never finished under the Roberts Companies, I was given the opportunity, in late 2015, to take a tour of the now completed Tower at OPOP. Since then, I have enjoyed seeing Downtown’s Renaissance continue.

In addition to this website, I was a writer at NextSTL and wrote four stories during my time there. I have since contributed to stories on 1120 KMOX, The St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Louis Public Radio, and Fox Radio St. Louis. I have also met with several Mayoral and political office candidates in St. Louis (Andrew Jones, Larry Rice, Kacey Cordes and Steven Roberts).

The Reconstruction of 3305 Meramec Proves No Building is "Too Far Gone To Save"
When we’re told that a building is “too far gone to save”, what does that mean? In the case of 3305 Meramec, a creativity and determination are preserving a building that would've otherwise been torn down, or collapsed.
