According to the January Forest Park Southeast development committee packet, a vacant auto repair shop at Gibson and Boyle could soon be home to a new Brennan's concept, Fort Somwhere. Brennan's recently had a location in the Central West End on Maryland Avenue and recently opened Brennan's Work and Leisure in Midtown Alley.
According to the packet, the development will include art space, a cigar bar, event space, outdoor seating, a rooftop deck and a art covered fence around the property. Because of the site's characteristics, parking will be dealt with via an agreement with the nearby St. Cronan Church and N&M Market.
The project should begin sometime this February and wrap up in June. Occupancy, according tot he packet, is slated for July. The total cost of the development, with acquisition and soft costs, totals out to be $645,000. No incentives will be sought for the project.
