Based on building permit applications, Cordish's "Spark Coworking" venture will join the lineup at Ballpark Village.
A building permit, valued at $1.1 Million, was applied for on December 29th. The building permit targets the PwC Pennant Building's 9th floor. Spark Coworking currently has two other locations, one being in Baltimore and the other having recently opened in Kansas City's Two Light (pictured below).
Based on the Spark Kansas City website, the space is geared towards people with creative minds who want a workspace that they can call their own and small-format companies that don't need a huge office. Spark also offers mailbox and conference room rentals. Rates range depending on what type of space you want. Coworking spaces generally follow this specific "market" of users.
Downtown St. Louis has a few other coworking spaces, including CoVo and WeWork. Social media profiles for "Spark St. Louis" have been hidden or removed. A Spark St. Louis website exists but is password protected.
The PwC Benannt Building opened to tenants in October of 2019. Currently, the building houses the offices for PwC, ButcherJoseph & Co., and Fox Sports Midwest. Retail tenants include Scott Credit Union, Starbucks (based on building permit applications), and Village Whiskey (based on marketing materials/not yet started).
