Townhomes Planned at 114-24 Gay Avenue in Clayton

More homes could be on their way to Clayton if a proposal by Manlin Development Group is approved for the city.

To be located at 114-24 Gay Avenue on the Northwest side of Clayton, the rowhome style townhouse units will replace two commercial buildings that are currently occupied. The existing buildings are 2-stories. The new complex will feature 8 townhome units and will be 3 stories with a sloping roof. The final height, according to Clayton Architectural Review Board documents, will be 37FT.

The façade will be constructed of primarily brick and precast stone. Each townhome unit will include an attached parking garage (capable of holding two cars) and a basement. The architect on the project is L.E. Fumagalli of Washington, Missouri. The cost of the development was not specified in the planning documents.

The new townhomes will be close to the Schnucks on Ladue Road near I-170 when completed.
