According to City of St. Louis building permit records (featured at the end of the post), just over $110,000 worth of building permits have been issued for the former Mike Shannon's building at 620 Market Street.
The usages are listed as, "Interior alterations per plans", "Paric Office" and "BPV mock up". Of course, all three of these are quite interesting as the current building has sat vacant since Mike Shannon's closed up shop a few years ago. The most intriguing part of the permits is the "BPV mock up" permit which is valued at $10,000 and is for electrical work. This is leading me to believe that a model of the full Ballpark Village development is being assembled or is planned to be assembled.
Since a mock up appears to be in order, I could see it being used for...
1. Leasing for office and retail space.
2. Unveiling of the remaining phases.
3. Personal usage by the Cardinals, Cordish, Architects and Paric for future phases.
All three permits were issued between Valentines Day (February 14th) and February 25th.

I have seen a lot of activity in/out of this building this week, with some type of notice posted along near Market and 7th. Any official word on this?
