The City Garden Montessori Charter School, located in the Botanical Heights neighborhood, will expand into a building at 4209 Folsom Avenue. This comes as the school continues to grow.
The project will see a former industrial building redeveloped into a state of the art school building. According to the school website, the project should open in time for the 2021-2022 school year and house their 1st-8th Grade classes. Based on drawings, the new building will have 18 classrooms and additional spaces for students and the faculty. The expansion is part of the "Ready to Flourish" campaign, which will see the City Garden Montessori school buildings renovated and expanded to meet the increased demand.
HKW is the architect on the project. Simms Building Group is the contractor. Both are local companies.
