Cornerstone Planning 4 Townhomes at 6602 Alamo in Clayton

Updated: Mar 16, 2021

Cornerstone Development, the firm behind the 2200 LaSalle apartment building within Lafayette Square's "Edge District", has proposed a 4 townhouse development in Clayton.

The $1,350,000 townhouse development will be built on a parking lot that current occupies a corner at Alamo and St. Rita. The building will stand 3-stories tall and feature units that range in size from 3000sf to 3400sf. Floor plans show these as 2-bedroom units with a 2 car garage in the basement, a loft space (that could be used as another bedroom), and a bonus space in the basement.

Core10 Architects is the architect on the project. The Clayton Architectural Review Board originally reviewed the plans on December 21st. Recently, a lot consolidation plan was submitted to the City of Clayton. The Architectural Review Board will reviewed this consideration on March 15th. The Board of Aldermen will review the plans on April 13th.

EDIT March 16th, 2021...

Cornerstone is also planning a renovation of the building at 6611 Clayton Road into 10 apartments. A cost has not been provided yet. Core10 Architects is serving as the architect here. The Clayton Architectural Review Board will review this project on April 5th. It goes before the Clayton Board of Aldermen on April 13th.
