New FBI Offices

According to the Business Journal, the U.S. Government is looking at moving the St. Louis FBI office to a new facility on the NGA site. The building would be separate from the NGA itself. At this point in time, it's just an idea. To study the idea, an $8 Million request for architectural drawings and a study has been issued by the Feds.

This thread is to post updates pertaining to this.

  • This is the master thread for the new NGA Complex. Post renderings, news stories, progress photos and more in this thread that relates to the NGA. The project will involve the moving of the NGA from their current facility on SOuth Broadway near Anheuser-Busch. That facility is ageing which kicked off the search for a new one. The Northside location was chosen and is bounded by Cass, 22nd, Montgomery and Jefferson-Parnell. The NGA hopes that their new HQ will spur more development. The new NGA will also have declassified spaces where business leaders and students can learn more about the technology in labs and classrooms. Developer: United States Government - National Geospatial Intelligence Agency Architect: Gensler Builder: McCarthy-HITT, Army Corps of Engineers Cost: $1.7 Billion Construction Begin: Summer 2020 Construction End: Sometime in 2025
