I created this Forum to encourage meaningful discussions about things going on around St. Louis, or the nation. These "things" include construction projects, special events and photography. Anyone is welcome to join, but I must approve you first to prevent spam bots. Once you are approved, you will be allowed to create threads for individual projects. In order to keep with the "flow of things". I'll edit the first post to include development statistics that inform people about the size and scope of the project. This is the website's "Project Database".
Rules on this website are simple, stick to the thread meaning. I'll allow for conversation that relates to the thread, but no outlandish posts that make no sense for the specific thread. I am sure that there is a section where you can create a thread to voice what you want to say. Basically, I don't want to have a thread that is about the NGA and have someone bring up some project in Detroit. Unless that project in Detroit relates to the NGA, don't post it on the NGA thread, rather, post it on the Detroit thread.
Other rules include...
- Profanity: I don't care as long as it's not targeted towards a specific user.
- Double threads: Please do not double post project threads. You can search for the project that you think should have a thread. If it doesn't exist, you can add it, but if it does and you add it, I'll simply move the thread to the actual existing thread and message you the thread link. There will be no punishment.
- Respect others opinions: I know for a fact that many people's opinions differ from one another. These can be project and politics wise. I want to promote a healthy debate but don't go crazy and start throwing insults around (such as profanity).
- Have fun: Explore with the features of the Forum and find new ways to create your posts. You can include fun galleries (as seen below of the America's Center Expansion), include emojis (😀 🤑 🤤 🤓 😲) and can add YouTube-Vimeo-Facebook videos directly. All of these can help others understand what's going on and add a new way to view projects.
Overall, I welcome you to Forum. If you have any comments or concerns, please post a thread into the "General Categories" section and I'll try to fix the problem in a timely manner.
