Alterra Tower (North Riverfront)

The planned tower is to be 50 Floors and the tallest in the City if built (but will not surpass the Arch). While no renderings have been posted, insider information has directed attention to the parking lot and America's Best Value in at 1100 Lumiere Place Boulevard. The usage would be retail, parking, hotel and residential.

How good are the chances this happens?

About 5%. Alterra must first demonstrate that they have the financial capacity to do the Jefferson Arms first. I could see this making an appearance in 2019 but construction wouldn't begin till the early 2020s.

I must say that I do like having this project adjacent to Lumiere rather than 6 blocks from it. If it gets built here, it will definitely look better with the rest of our skyline.

We have to see the design first before coming to conclusions. My understanding is that this was put on the back burner for now.
